Who we are
Global Risk Management & Insurance Surveys Ltd (GRM) is a client-based, service-oriented firm that uses a cost-effective, professional approach to deliver quality services to current and prospective clients. GRM provides professional risk management, risk audit consulting and training, loss assessment, loss adjustment and claims settlement to NGOs, insurance companies, public and private organisations, government, small businesses and international agencies.
Our team of professional consulting associates has more than 60 years of combined experience in fire risk assessment, engineering fire risk management and training, and the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fire protection systems for gas plants, fuel installation depots and manufacturing plants. Our loss adjusters have extensive experience handling large commercial and residential fire losses, flood damage, wind damage and hurricane damage, and can prepare repair estimates where required.
GRM also undertakes occupational risk management and disaster risk management in drought-stricken areas on behalf of NGOs, disaster risk management for counties, fire audit assessments, loss assessment, loss adjustment and claims settlement — drawing on the team’s diverse backgrounds and comprehensive interpersonal and organisational skills.
The company was registered in Kenya in 2008. Principal Officer Anthony Obare has carried out similar assignments while at AON Kenya Ltd. as Risk Manager, and at Swiss Re-insurance Company in South Africa (Johannesburg) as Vice President in charge of Risk Management for English-speaking countries in Africa.
