Marine Cargo Surveillance & Inspection

As shippers and consignees increasingly move goods in containers, we offer comprehensive monitoring of discharge operations — verifying that seals on containers match accompanying documentation, and advising on de-stuffing methods that minimise losses.

We provide round-the-clock surveillance on vessels during discharge, supervise bagging operations for break-bulk cargo, and oversee weighing and stitching at quaysides and warehouses. We carry out hook tallies and maintain accurate records to ensure quantities declared in cargo manifests are accounted for, reporting on any discrepancies.

Monitoring services extend to discharge of refined petroleum products from ocean tankers to shore tanks, and distribution of fuel from coastal tankers.

Recoveries & Subrogation

We have established a reputation for subrogation rights follow-ups and recoveries in the insurance industry. Whenever compensation is paid on a claim — especially marine and shipping losses — where a negligent or liable party is established, it is imperative that insurers recoup their outlays.

Salvage collection and disposal also helps insurers recoup some or all of their claim outlays. We ensure salvage recovery and insurers’ rights are adequately preserved whenever we are called upon to handle claims of this nature.

Fire Risk & Protection Systems

Our team undertakes fire risk assessment and engineering, and training, alongside supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fire protection systems for gas plants, fuel installation depots and various manufacturing plants.
